I Can't Do Yet."
Which is a phrase
I do not get.

As we are all made differently,
We are not built the same,
But society says "please conform,"
It's really quite insane!

At school we are examined
On subjects so diverse.
But the need to all get 10 A stars,
Is becoming quite a curse.

If everyone comes in first place,
In everything they do,
We can not tell what our strengths are,
Or what we're weak at too.

The result, the school's position
On the league table is nice,
But exams that let us show our skills
Is the resulting sacrifice.

We can't be good at everything,
Life would be such a bore.
It's the B's and C's and Fails in life
That makes wins and A's much more.

I would never say "Just Give Up!"
That would not be right.
I am saying find the skills you have,
And make that light shine bright.

I know we all need the three Rs,
But if one you can't do.
Don't get hung up, and don't get down,
For there is something else for you.

So never feel you're worthless,
Because you fail where others shine.
Because your skills are more unique,
You'll have a better time.
